     A By-Iaw to Prevent Nuisances 
     
    
   
   
    
     BE it enacted by the City Council of the City 
     
     of Charlottetown, as follows :— 
     
    
   
   
    
     I. No person shall profanely swear or make 
     
     “on“ and use .of obscene, blasphemous, or insulting, or 
     
     $1332}. abusxve language on the streets .or public places 
     
     within the City, nor shall within thesaid cit’y 
     
     annoy persons in their shops or dwellings, and 
     
     any person so offending may be taken into 
     
     custody, and shall, on conviction, be subject to 
     
     the penalties of this By-law.

     008“" public exposure of his or her person Within the 
     
     said city, nor shall any person make an indecent 
     
     public exposure of any obscene picture, plate, 
     
     print, drawing, statue, or of any other indecent 
     
     exhibition within the said city, and any person 
     
     so offending may be taken into custody, and 
     
     shall, on conviction, be subject to the penalties

     sidewalks, footpaths or crossings, or by using 
     
     insulting language thereon; and any person so 
     
     offending may be taken into custody, and shall, 
     
     upon conviction, be subject to the penalties of 
     
     this By--law.
