owners of all horses, cows. mules, asses, goats, Fm sheep, swine or neat cattle, so impounded as aforesaid. the sum of one dollar for each and every such animal impounded, together with the sum of tWemy cents per day for, the keep and sustenance of every horse, cow, mule, ass, and head of neat cattle. and the sum of ten cents per day for the keep and sustenance of every goat, sheep and pig so impounded as aforesaid; and rifthe owner of any such animals so impounded as aforesaid shall neglect or refuse to pay the same
to the keeper of. the pound, together with the charges of advertising as aforesaid, within four days after the trespassing animal shall be so impounded and advertised, then the said keeper
of the pound shall sell or cause the said animals
so impounded as aforesaid to be publicly sold, and the money arising from such sale, after Eggtgfience deducting the charge of the said keeper for pound fees, and for supporting the said animals whilst so impounded, and all costs of advertisment and sale shall be paid forthwith to the Clerk of the City Police Court for the owner or owners ' of such animals so impounded and sold as aforesaid; and if no owner or owners shall appear within six months the money so remaining in the hands of the Clerk of the City Police Court, shall be and become part and parcel of the City funds.
8. No person or persons shall make any Bmch of breach of the pound or pounds, or shall by Wind any other indirect means rescue any animal mentioned in this By-law out of the same.
9. Every Pound-keeper shall immediately, Pawnee”,
