No person shall keep any pig— —sty on the ”Matron,“ front of any street, not being shutout from such 3““ street by a sufficiently close wall or fence, or shall keep any swine in or near any street, so as to be a nuisance. 25. If on complaint upon oath of any cred- {3353:3ch ible person, or on view of any member of the howremoved Board of Health, the City Marshal, or any of the police constables, it shall be ascertained that any fish, meat, potatoes, cabbage, onions, turnips or any ‘other substances in any cellar, warehouse, stable, outhouse or other premises, are decom— posing and becoming a nuisance, or injurious to health, the same shall be ordered to be immedi- ately removed without the city ; and if the owner or person in whose premises the same may be, shall neglect or refuse to remove the same when so ordered, the said Board of Health shall have the power at all reasonable times to remove such decomposing or injurious sub- stances at the cost and charge of the owner or r person aforesaid ; and such owner or other person in addition shall be liable to the penalties of this By-law. 26. No person shall hide or keep any dead figddgggggggf horse, neat cattle, pig, dog, poultry, or any other 0‘ animal, in any house, stable, store. warehouse, or other building, or within any yard or other enclosure within the city, until the same shall become offensive or a nuisance; and no person shall throw, put, deposit or place, or cause to be thrown, put. deposited or placed in the creek generally called the Governor’s Pond, or else- where within the city’s limits, any rubbish, dirt, filth, offal, garbage, or any rotten or offensive meat, fish, vegeables, or the carcase of any
