     A By-law for Licensing, Regulating or fire- 
     
     venting Billiard Tables, Bowling Alleys, or 
     
     other like places of Amusement. 
     
    
   
   
    
     BE it enacted by the City Council of the City 
     
    
   
   
    
     of Charlottetown as follows 1—— 
     
    
   
   
    
     1. No person shall have in his possession, 
     
     custody, or power, in the said city, any Billiard, 
     
     Pool, or Bagatelle Table, or any Bowling Alley 
     
     set up for hire or gain, directly or indirectly, 
     
     without having first obtained the license sever- 
     
    
   
   
    
     ally required by this By- law. ,

     No inmmat. 2. No Billiard, qul, or Bagatelle Table or

     in any tavern, house of entertainment, saloon or 
     
     place Where intoxicating liquors are sold, or in

     ggggggtggn 3. All applications for a license to keep 
     
    

    
     \ either a Billiard, Pool, or Bagatelle Table, or to 
     
     keep a Bowling-Alley, shall be made in writing 
     
     to the City Council, of said city, a copy of 
     
     which petition shall be filed 1n the office of the 
     
     City Clerk, at least one month previous to the 
     
     meeting of the Council, at which such petition 
     
     is to be presented

     civic ward in which the petitioner for such 
     
     license seeks to set up such Billiard.- Pool or
