object by petition or in any similar manner to the granting of any such license within such ward, such objection to be filed with the said City Clerk at least four days previous to the first meeting of the Council to consider such applica« tion for such license.

5. The objections which may be taken to the . . granting of any such license may be one or more 0bJ°°“°“S of the following:

(a.) That the applicant is of bad fame and character.

(6.) That the premises in question are out of repair or are not in a fit condition to afford accommodation for the use applied for.

(a) That the licensing thereof is not required in the neighborhood ; or that the premises in which such Billiard. Pool, or Bagatelle Table or such Bowling Alley is sought to be set up. and used are in the immediate vicinity of a place of Public \Norship, Hospital or School; or that the quiet of thep place or locality 1n which such premises are located will be disturbed if any such license 15 granted.
