Application for license License Fee Form [134] engaged in any profession, business or employ- ment within the city not coming under the before mentioned classes. shall pay a license fee of not less than two dollars, and not more than fifty dollars per annum, the precise amount to be fixed by the 1Mayor. 7. Every person requiring a license for any of the purposes for which a license is required to be taken out under the provisions of this By-law, shall make an application therefor in writing to the City Clerk, which shall contain the name of the applicant or applicants, the trade or business required to be licensed, and the premises or place in which the same shall be carried on. 8. Every license issued under this By—law shall be signed by the Mayor of the city and countersigned by the City Clerk, and shall mention therein the name of the person or persons, and the trade or business intended to be licensed, and the premises or place in which the same is to be carried on, together with the date of the issue thereof and the period for which the same shall continue to be valid. other- wise the same shall be null and void. ‘ 9.
