1903. III EDWARD VII. Cap. 17. 11 (2) And there shall also be qualified to vote there- at, every male inhabitant of said City and Common thereof, being a British subject and having the quali- fications in respect to age, residence and payment of taxes, set forth in this twenty-fourth section, who shall actually and within the ward for which he shall vote: then be, and for three months previously shall have been, actually and in his own right, in the tenancy or occupancy of any lands, premises or tene- ments in said City, or the Common thereof, of the yearly rental of fourteen dollars, however payable, or— ‘ * Occupier (3) Who shall have paid income tax to the amount. of two dollars and upwards for the year preceding such election, or— Income Tax (4) Who shall have paid poll tax to the amount P011 Tax of two dollars for the year preceding such election, provided such poll tax shall have been paid at least one month before the day of the‘election at which he claims to vote. ‘ 25.
