1903 III EDWARD VII. Cap. 17. 61 County Courts of Judicature in this Province now possess by Virtue of any Act of the Legisla— ture of this Province; and the said Court and Maxim‘um ' the judge thereof shall, subject to the limitations fi§iab1a aforesaid, have the same powers as the County Court Judges possess by virtue of any of the Acts aforesaid for the collection of debts. 140 The City Court shall be held on theC mheld on first Wednesday in every month throughout the 3331330??? year except when such day shall happen to be a Public Holiday, when the said Court shall be held on the following day. 141. The Clerk of the said Magistrate shall Clerkofthe be the Clerk of the said Court, and shall have 00““ the same powers and authority as are vested from time to time in Clerks of the said County Courts by the Legislature of this Province, and shall have power to administer all oaths and take all affidavits for use in said Court ; and the City Marshal and any of the Police Constables or li‘éitéé‘tlté‘d Bailiffs of said City shall have the same powers 1311111113 and authority as are possessed by properly authorized Bailiffs of said County Courts; and all fees collected under this Act shall be paid into the City Treasury. 14.2. The Judg e of the said City Court shall Judge 10 have have all and the same powers. with regard 10331233” amendments as are possessed by any judge of the County Court. 143. It shall be lawful for the said Clerk Capiasmy of the said City Court, only in cases where 16"“ the debt shall not exceed thirty- two dollars, to issue a capias to arrest the body of the debtor in whatsoever county of this Island he may be found.
