Court in any such proceedings under the said Act, or amending Acts, or any judgment of the said City Court shall not have any force or effect against or as regards the interest of any garnishee in any lands; and provided further that any such order or Judgement shall not operate as an assignment to any creditor of any Judgment, Mortgage or other instrument creating a lien on the real or personal estate of w a garnishee as similar order or Judgment in like

proceedings in the Supreme Court may by virtue of the said Act.

Judzeef City 150. It shall be lawful for the Judge of the

mama City Court, from time to time, to make all

agigggngzfic, such general rules and orders for the effectual execution of the said Garnishee Act and ’amending Acts, and of this Act and of the intention and object thereof, and the perform- ance thereof relative to proceedings in such Court, and to make any form of writs, rules, orders or summonses as he shall deem necessary or expedient for giving effect thereto, and which rules, orders and forms shall have and be deemed to have the same force and effect as if originally inserted in this Act ; and all such writs, rules or orders and proceedings shall be acted upon and enforced in such and the same manner as writs and proceedings in such Court are now acted upon, and inforced, or as near thereto as the circumstances of the case will admit or as such Judge shall order.

Judge to 15 t. The Judge ofithe said City Court shall 393%}: have power to appoint such Bailiffs as may be

necessary for the said Court, and such Bailiffs when appointed shall have full power and authority to execute all and every the processes,
