CAP XIII.
An Act to Further Amend the City of Charlotte- town Incorporation Act.

preamble WHEREAS by Section 173 of the Act of 3rd Edward VII, Cap. I7 the power of
the City of Charlottetown to issue Debentures
for the erection of a new Market House Building
is limited to Thirty-five thousand dollars, which
sum has been found insufficient for the purpose.
Be it therefore enacted by the Lieutenant Governor and Legislative Assembly of the Province of Prince Edward Island, as follows:
I. That the Corporation of the City of Char— magi-“Egan lottetown be hereby authorized to issue deben- B‘mdin' tures for the further sum of Twenty-five thousand
dollars for the completion of the said Market House Building, said debentures when issued to be in the same form and to bear interest at the same rate, and to be secured in the same manner
as the debentures provided for under' said Section 173 of the Act of 3rd Edward VII, Cap.
17.
2. For the purpose of providing a fund towards payment of the debentures issued or hereafter to be issued for the construction of the said Market House Building, the City of Charlottetown shall set aside annually out of the net receipts and revenues from the said Market House Building, (after providing thereout for payment of the interest on all the debentures
