”Prince Edward Island" By Rev. Robert Murray
Isle of the Northern sea, Land of my well loved home; My heart e’er clings to thee, ’ Tho’ far my feet may roam.
Around thee ocean roars, And storms their vigils keep; Waves thunder on the shores, Isle ”cradled on the deep. ”
Isle, of the sun-kissed green, Where many a sparkling bay,- Reflects from depths serene, A land as fair as day.
Land of the settlers brave, Who knew no fear but God; Who wrestled with the wave, And broke the virgin sod.
Who left to us in trust,
For a people yet to be;
A land where swords may rust But all her sons are free.

Rev. Robert Murray was a Presbyterian minister in O’Leary from 1910-21.
