Doyles Point: Extends into Hillsborough River, Lot 48. Meacham 1880 shows Jas. Doyle there, Cummins 1925 has Jno. Doyle, and Joseph Doyle is a current resident.

Doyles Pond: On Little Tignish River, Lot 2. Meacham 1880 has Richard and Patrick Doyle there, and Cummins 1925 shows Peter and Patrick Doyle. Highway 12 crosses Doyles Bridge over Little Tignish River.

Drakes Point: Extends into West River, Lot 32. Meacham 1880 Primrose, with Enoch and Robert Drake resident there. Bayfield 1846 Primrose Point. Also known as MacDonalds Point.

Dromore: 5 mi S of Mount Stewart in Lot 37. Named by Father Brady c1850 after Dromore in Ireland, possibly the one in County Tyrone, although there are others in Down and Clare. Formerly known as Little Hill Road, sometimes corrupted to

Little Hell Road because of many quarrels among neighbours. PO 1875-1914.
