Limekiln Point: Noted by Bagster 1861 at a 1/4-mi—wide part of Montague River below the village of Montague.
Linkletter: 2 mi W of Sunimerside in Lot 17. Settled by George Linkletter, Loyalist from Connecticut 1785 and his three sons, George, John and James. PO 1896—1915. Linkletter Creek and Linkletter Shore are adjacent features.

Little Courtin Island: In Malpeque Bay, Ma. mi SE of Courtin Island. Named for Abbé Courtin, missionary to the Micmacs 1731— 1732. Bayfield 1850 Curta’n 1.; Douglas 1925 and NTS ll L/12 1967 Courtiti Island. In Micmac Eoletigel Menigol, “poor islands” (Pacifique 1934).
Little Dutchman Rock: In Northumberland Strait, at the W end of Bedeque Bay, near Sunbury Point. Possibly given by a survey— or as an epithet for “square head”.
Little French Fort: On Bayfield 1846 in Lot 36, 2 mi E of present Frenchfort.
Little Harbour: 3 mi E of Souris in Lot 46. PO 1872-1913.
Little Harbour: Adjacent to Northumberland Strait, Lot 46. Possibly given because the bay there is much smaller than Colville Bay at Souris. Named by Samuel Holland 1765 Hervey Cove for William Hervey (1755-1763). Bellin 1744 Havre (‘1 l’An- guille; Lake 1863 Harvey Cove.

Little Pierre Jacques: PO 1884—1914 on B side of Glenwood, Lot 8. The P0 served Milburn.
Little Pierre Jacques River: Flows S into Wolfe Inlet. Lot 8. Probably named for an Indian chief. Picl Jacques was among chiefs who presented a petition to the House of Assembly in 1832.
Little Pond: 9 mi SW of Souris in Lot 56. The pond is the enclosed water body shown on NTS 11 L/8 as Spry Cove. PO 1886-1913. School district before 1880.
Little River: Flows SE into Howe Bay, Lot 56. In Meacham1880,Cummins 1925 and NTS 11 L/8 1967. NTS 11 L/8 1947 has Howe Bay for the river. Probably named because it is much shorter than Fortune River.
Little Sands: 4 mi SW of Murray River in Lots 62 and 64. Named for the sandy shore between Wood Islands and High Bank. On Plan 1829 and in JHA 1832. PO 1859— 1915.
