Called ilol du Comte St-Pierre during the French period; another feature on W side of Mermaid Cove was called i101 de [a Comlesse.

MacLeods Point: Extends into Murray River, Lot 63. Cummins 1925 shows Cyrus McLeod there, and Meacham 1880 has Mrs. Jas. McLeod near it.

MacLeods Pond: On Vallcyfield River, Lot 58. Named for Angus R. MacLeod. In

error Prowses Pond is placed there on NTS 11 L/2 1967.

MacLures Pond: In Murray Harbour North. Lot 63. Meacham 1880 has David McLure

beside it, and Cummins 1925 notes Geo. T. McLure there.

MacLures Pond: On Murray River at the vil- lage of Murray River. Meacham 1880 names Cartney McLure with a grist mill there. He also had another mill at Upper MacLures Pond on Murray River.

Macmillan Cove: In Douglas 1925 in the area of Lot 7; possibly confused with MacWil- liams Cove.

MacMillans Cove: Adjacent to Pownal Bay, Lot 49. Meacham 1880 shows Jas. and Richd. McMillan with property there, and Cummins 1925 identifies Ambrose McMillan.

MacMillans Pond: On Vernon River at Al~ berry Plains. George McMillan was a miller there (PEI Directory 1889-90). Meacham 1880 names Geo. and Jno. McMillan with saw and flour mills, and Cummins 1925 notes Geo. F., Alex., and Shaw McMillan.
