Nebraska Creek: Flows N into Grand River, Lot 16. The origin of this name in PEI is unknown; possibly it is a familiarization of the Micmac name. Nebraska Road occurs in JHA 1892. Formerly known as South- west River.

Negeaganr: In the area of St. Peters Harbour according to de la Roque 1752.

New Acadia: 7 mi NW of Souris in Lot 43. Named by Eusebius Peters c1885 for his Acadian forebears. PO New Acadie 1889— 1914.

New Annan: 4 mi NE of Summerside in Lot 19. Named by Squire Jamieson who built mills there. Probably named for Annan, Dumfries, Scotland. Noted in JHA 1836. PO 1878—1912.

New Argyle: 10 mi SW of Charlottetown in Lots 30 and 65. Settled in early 18005 from

Argyllshire, Scotland. PO 1884—1913. Formerly known as Argyle Rear.
