St. Peters Lake: Adjacent to Gulf of St. Law- rence, Lot 39. Named by Samuel Holland 1765 Britains Pond; Wright and Cundall 1874 Britain or Stukely Lake; Douglas 1925 Stukeley Pond. There is a Stukeley in Huntingdonshire, England, and William Stukeley (1687—1765) was a well known
antiquarian. Probably des Etangs in de la Roque 1752.

Salutation Cove: Adjacent to Bedeque Bay, Lot 26. Named by Samuel Holland 1765. Possibly given by Holland because this is where Lieutenant Haldimand was found, after running out of food and supplies, having surveyed from near West Point.
