THE MILITKA In Military affairs the Island is the Twelfth District of Canada. The established strength of the active force by arms is composed of five companies of Garrison Artillery, one double company of Engineers, and eight companies of Infantry, a total of 60 officers and 646 non-commissioned officers and men.
