D. F. Keays owned and managed a General Store where the East Baltic road meets the main highway to East Point, on the north side of the province.

After his passing, his son—in—law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. D. A. MacEachern took it over until Mr. MacEachern's death, then Mrs. MacEachern managed alone until she sold it to Bernard MacPhee, Priest Pond, and he still operates it.

Note: Mossey's store of today has two floors and basement 30 x 70 feet.

In 1961 a potato storage warehouse was built 30 x 70 feet basement and one floor, capacity of 25 carloads of potatoes.
