Tug—of—War Lightweights

In 1964 a lightweight team was formed with Kenneth MacGregor as coach. This team contested for 4 years. The members of this team were:

Aubrey MacGregor Glen Robertson Billie Harris

The team won the Island Championship for Lightweights and also the Albert Griffin each year. They also pulled at the Atlantic Winter Fair in Halifax. This team was named "The Red Point Farmers Lightweights".

Parks Provincial

A tour of Eastern Kings, Prince Edward Island is one of the most scenic drives in the province. Roads lead by rich potato fields on one hand, and miles of white, sandy beaches on the other.

Loch Dhu Haven

A few miles east of Souris at Red Point is Loch Dhu Haven, a beautiful private camping site and trailer park offering com— pleted facilities and restful surroundings and the sound of the

surf. It is owned and operated by Mr. and Mrs. Alan MacLean, Souris.

Red Point Park

The Provincial Park was started in 1960 on land formerly owned by Adrian MacInnis. The next year more land was purchased from the Est. of J. C. Campbell. Richard Coolen was Warden for the first season and George Bruce has been Warden from that year until the present time. Preston Bryanton was the first night watchman and Willie Robertson was appointed soon after and continue. here until the Close of the tourist season in 1971.

Everett Coffin, South Lake, has been appointed night watch- man for the 1972 season and his duties began on May 29th.
