     The crowning took place at Prince County Vocational High 
     
     School during the second annual Miss Credit Union Contest. Miss 
     
    
   
   
    
     Bruce won over nine other girls for the title. She represented 
     
     Souris Credit Union in the contest. 
     
    
   
   
    
     She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Bruce and is a 
     
     Grade 12 student at Souris Regional High School. 
     
    
   
   
    
     The contest consisted of all ten contestants parading in 
     
     street dress, swim suits, and formal dress, as well as demonstrat— 
     
     ing their special talent. Miss Bruce's talent was modelling.
