William Grosvenor married Ellen Jane Cameron, who died and he married Oressa Amelia e and they had four children: Myra, Ruth, Horace and Stanley. We » now take a look at the James Cameron family. He stayed on at Aug- ~‘ ’18 Cove and married Henrietta Murray of Linkletter Road. They had sons: Richard, Robert, George, Ollie and John. The two latter died 1g. George married Mae Anderson and lived at New Annan. They one daughter, Melvina (Mrs. Edwin MacKay) of New Annan.

Robert born 1873 Whose wife was Margaret Power, was a life-long lent of Augustine Cove. They had a son, Leonard, and a daughter, 5 1. Robert passed away in 1953, and his wife in 1945 at the age of y—nine years. Leonard was born in 1919 (See story elsewhere). Reta born in 1923. She lived at home with her parents. She passed away 965. A grandson, Preston, still resides in the Cameron home.

Richard Cameron (1870—1956) lived all his life in Augustine Cove. ' 920 he married Pearl Best of Lot 16. They had three children: Stan— Marion and Eleanor. Stanley, who was born June 7, 1921, resides and Ks in Augustine Cove. Marion, born October 24, 1923, resides with brother and mother. Eleanor was born February 18, 1926. She mar— . Harold MacKenzie and had one daughter, Juanita. Eleanor passed 3 y in 1945. Juanita is now Mrs. Frank MacLaren. She lives in Tor— ’, and has a son, Jarrod Harold. Other members of the Cameron fam— ire: Garv who attended Englewood Regional High School and grad— 1 id from U.P.E.I., is now teaching at Englewood. Faye is employed in T": s:nto; Gloria, graduated from Englewood and took instruction in hair- dI‘, sing. In July 1973 she married Winston Weatherbie of Charlottetown. I am, also graduated from Englewood and attended Holland College. 1s presently employed at U.P.E.I. Wayne and Darlene are at home.

THE CAMPBELL’S

Duncan Campbell, an ex—soldier, and his three young children came :1 Scotland to Prince Edward Island and Augustine Cove in about 1810. ~ 'wife, believed to have been a McFadyen, had died previous to his mg to this country. He established a home on land below where <39 Campbell now reides. Part of this house is attached to the present C'-1Dbell home. The children of Duncan were: Nancy, Colin and Mary. , " glrls married and left the district, but Colin remained on the family f'. In Augustine Cove. He married Jessie (or Jane) MacNeill from West R 6.1”, and they had eight children: Neil, Hector, Colin, Annie, Isabelle, 0‘ 1sty, Sarah and Donald. Four of these died in young adulthood.

Donald (1853-1946) married Elizabeth Matheson of York, P‘.E.I.

B: y had three daughters and three sons: Annie, Laura, Belle, Goodwill, 1 Ce and Walter.

Annie died when a young girl in her teens.

Laura, born July 26, 1891, married Alfred Cameron of South Mel- ‘. ' They had one son, John.
