THE CARR 'S Thomas Carr sailed from Hull, England in 1817 on the ship Valiant h Capt. Izzard . Thomas settled in Crapaud , Prince Edward Island as a gle man and it is quite apparent that he never married, as his will rj le on December 9, 1838 states that all his belongings and property in 29 were to be given to his brother John. From the will of John Carr , proved on June 29, 1853 his family is ed as follows: wife, Elizabeth, children: Thomas, Ann Stathers , John, >rge, Hannah, Joseph, William and a granddaughter Elizabeth Ann Carr . Joseph Carr , born May 28, 1829, died January 12, 1916 was buried St. John's Anglican Church cemetery in Crapaud . He lived in Tryon h his wife Mary Elizabeth MacNeill who was born in 1839 and died in 1. Their family was as follows: Sarah, Robert, Hannah, Eviline, Dine- ad, Christie, Carrie and Artemus. Their eldest son, Robert Carr , was born June 28, 1862 and died I ober 29, 1923. He married Catherine MacLeod , born September 26, I 5, died March 17, 1929. Their family members were, Ethel, Chesley, I rles (died in infancy), Janey, Vincent (killed in action in World War T), Russell, Burpee, Catherine. Robert and his family lived in North Ti on until 1909 when they moved to Augustine Cove , after which four ot] ;rs joined the family namely: Milton, Georgie, John and Gerda. Ethel married Frederick Lord of Tryon . Their children were: Mar - •ior, (died in infancy), Vernon, Bertha ( Mrs. Arthur Boulter ), Bovyer, He m and Ruth (twins). Chesley married Ina Rodgerson and they had one daughter, Vera t(M s. Kenneth Shute ). Janey married George Gaw . They had eleven children namely: Janes, Jennie, George, Stanley, Warren, Royle, Gordon, Maybelle, Juanita, i 01* a Kay and Lloyd. This family lives in the United States. Their children were: Helen, Marvin (died at six ■nths), Gordon, Kathleen, Daisy, Delbert and Danny . The four young- si were born in Augustine Cove . Helen, born March 13, 1920, is married • Leslie MacNevin and lives in Argyle Shore . They have no family. , Gordon, who was born on August 17, 1923, married Ena Baglole and they f ha^ two sons and one daughter: Brian, Lois and Bertrum . Gordon passed away in 1967. Kathleen was born July 28, 1926. She is married to Eric Jay and lives in Charlottetown . The Jay's have three sons: Harvey, Ste- i Men and Alan. Daisy was born February 17, 1932. She lives in Windsor, t Ontario and is married to James MacKinnon . They have five children: kneila, Jimmy, Sharon, Sandra and Michael. Delbert who was born ^ovember 21, 1933 lives in Tryon . His wife is the former Helen How- « and they have a daughter, Deborah. Danny born January 13, 1938 1 1 w Uves in Toronto .
