Neil (1829- 1895) married Jane Bell of Cape Traverse. He 1135 Justice of the Peace, school teacher and also storekeeper at August? 2 Cove corner. Neil and Jane had two sons: John B. (see story elsewhe‘ ' ‘ and Finley, who married Minnie MacFadyen, as mentioned above): a, one daughter, Mary, who married Rev. Daniel MacLean. The MacIea had four children: Neil, Ruth, Muriel and Jean.
Eunice, adopted, (1808- 1901) married Alexander Walker. T‘- lived on the farm where Mrs. Frank Murphy now resides. They ha son, Thomas, who married Jane Richards — no family; also a daught: Mary Jane, who married Neil MacPherson.

The first MacFarlane family in Augustine Cove was that of G __ don, (1858-1938). His father, David, was born in Bedeque, P.E.I a’p 1 married Ellen Manson of Carleton in 1842. Gordon, one of a familyt‘ C nine, was born in Carleton in 1859. In 1891 he married Catherine (Kat 21 Webster, (1869- 1947), daughter of Benjamin Webster of Augustine 00v and they moved to this district a few years later.
