Their two daughters were Margaret who married Thomas Can ruthers; and Minnie who married Finley MacFadyen . The CarrulheE^ had a family of three: Minnie, ( Mrs. Ernest Walker ); Miriam ( Mrs. Eftij inald Muttart) and John. Minnie and Finley MacFadyen had one d.oijsoi ter, Jean, who spent the greater part of her childhood in Augustine Cowi with her uncle, John B. MacFadyen . After teaching school in Princ; IKj ward Island and in Saskatchewan , Jean moved to Boston where sh< vw engaged in secretarial work for a time. Several years ago she ret rrWi to Summerside and until recently did substitute teaching. She is ar a*M writer of family histories, and historical sketches of churches and 3tl subjects of interest on P.E.I. ; and many are indebted to her for her %g ary works along these lines. Mary Ann (her dates are not known as her tombstone cannot found) married Duncan Matheson of York . The members of their f M were: Margaret, Ann, Hannah J., John, Roderick, Neil, Elizabetl a William. His father, David, was born in Bedeque , P.E.I. apo married Ellen Manson of Carleton in 1842. Gordon, one of a family Ca nine, was born in Carleton in 1859. In 1891 he married Catherine (Ka'an Webster, (1869-1947), daughter of Benjamin Webster of Augustine Co vj and they moved to this district a few years later.
