Lester Clarke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Clarke, enlisted in 1942 and was engaged in active service in Europe until l9h6. From 1947-1970 he served in Korea, Japan, and N.A.T.0. in Europe and Canada. Lester married Ruth Small and they reside in Charlottetown with their two sons, James and Ronald.
Elmer Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Seymour Thompson enlisted and served from 19A4-1945 in the Army, but the war ended before he finished training. Elmer married Muriel Pye, and they have four children, Carol, Errol, Sandra and Lonnie. Their home is in St. Eleanor's.
Wilfred Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Seymour Thompson enlisted in the Army but took rheumatic fever, was hospitalized, and unable to take part in active service. Wilfred and his wife, the former Ethel Ferguson now reside in Dartmouth, N.S. They have three children, Dianne, Wayne and Gary.
Elton Higgins, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Higgins left college to enlist in the Navy. He served from 1944-]9A5 in Canada and England on an Aircraft Carrier. Elton returned home and continued his college education, obtaining his doctor‘s degree. He resides in Niagra Falls, New York where he is presently practicing. He is married to Jolene Peterson and they have a family of four, Mark, Michael, Peter and Jamie.
Leigh Simmons, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Simmons enlisted in 1942 and served in Tanks in Europe until 1945. Leigh now resides in United States. He married Lena Chappell and from this union came two children Joan and Walter. After the death of his first wife, Leigh married Christine MacLeod and they have one child, Marshall.
Wallace Simmons, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Simmons, enlisted in 1945 and served in the Supply Mechanical section in Canada until 1947. Wallace - and his wife the former Jean Simmons have a family 0f four, Brenda, Gary, Gregory and Cathy. They reside in Wilmot.
