Ralph Acorn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Everald Acorn, served in the Black Watch from 19h1 to 19h5 in Canada. After his service in the War Ralph resided in Ontario until his death in October 1973.
Dorothy Simmons, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Simmons enlisted and served three years with the Canadian Women‘s Army Corps. Dorothy's home is now in Ottawa, Ontario. She married Roger Boisvenue and they have five children, Wayne, Roger, Donnie, Rene and Carol.

Edward Clark, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Clark, enlisted in the Navy and served from May 1951 until fall of 1952 at Cornwallis, Nova Scotia and Esquimait, British Columbia on H.M.C.S. Naden. Edward returned home and resumed farming. He married Ruby Best and from this union came three daughters, Colleen, Cathy, and Lynne.
George Best, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Best, enlisted in the Air Force, April 1951 and served in Halifax and Germany until April 1961. George now resides in Sea View and is doing carpenter work. He married Ruth Mabee and they have eight children, Sharon, Debbie, Anna, Donna, Kevin, Lorna, Kimberly and Lloyd.
