HARVEY MORRIS

In 1972 Harvey Morris bought a lot from Harley Gamble and built a dwelling on it in 1973.

Mr. Morris married Ann Weeks and they have three daughters, Carol, Susan and Betty. Carol and Susan are married. Betty is attending Athena Regional High School.

Mr. Morris is employed with the Department of National Defence at Canadian Forces Base, Summerside P. E. l.

NINFIELD AND HARLEY GAMBLE

John Gamble moved to Belmont frOm Gamble's Corner, P.E.l. He purchased the farm now owned by Robert MacLaurin in the early 1880's. Shortly after, they sold this farm, and their son, Samuel built a house on a lot of land at the end of the Tory Road. Samuel married Marjory Lee, and they had a family of six, Matthew, Hamilton, Lee, Jane, Mary and Ann.

Matthew Gamble married Selina lnman and moved eventually to a farm he bought at the Belmont Corner. They had one son, Winfield.

Winfield Gamble married Viola Barrett, and Purchased a farm of his own from Major Barrett in 1923. They had one son, Harley.

in 1953, they purchased the Rose Hill farm from Mrs. Fred lnman, which their son Harley, farms today.

Harley Gamble married Olga Simpson, and they have two sons, Robert and John.

DALE YEO

in 1958 Byron Yeo moved from his farm (the Elijah Simpson property) which he sold to Arnold Barrett. He purchased a house and lot from winfield and Harley Gamble, and with his wife and family, moved to his new home. This lot Was originally part of the Rose Hill Farm, and
