Byron is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Garfield Yeo, Central Lot 16, and his wife, the former Ethel Ramsay is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Ramsay, Belmont Lot 16. They had a family of two, a son, Dale and a daughter, Judy who married Louis Gallant and has two sons, Tracy and Terry. in 1969, Byron and his wife moved to Summerside and his son Dale now lives in the house. Dale married the former Linda Gaudet, and they have a family of three, Barry, Lori Lee and Lisa.

Mr. Hensley Clark, our oldest citizen, built this house in 1938, on a lot he bought from his brother, Melvin Clark. He resided there by himself until ill health forced him to sell it in 1972 to Alan Larder, the present owner. Mr. Larder is married to Beryl Smith, and they have a family of three boys, Thomas, Douglas and David. Mr. Larder is a member of the Armed Forces and is employed at Canadian Forces Base, Summerside.

This farm was originally part of the Rose Hill Farm and this portion was sold to Mr. Edward Auld. Later, John Clark purchased it, and through the years different members of the Clark family iived there. Now the house and a lot of land are owned by Winfred Clark, but the farm is owned by [van and Edward Clark.

Winfred Clark married the former Mae Ferguson and they have a family of five, Brenda, Stephen, Donna, Ronnie and Darrell.

IVAN CLARK

Mr. Malcolm Ramsay, a member of the House of Assembly, was the first owner of this property, which was settled in the early 1800's. He deeded the land to Arthur Ramsay in 1850. Edward Auld bought the property in 1883. The next owner was John Clark who had eleven children, Frank, Ella, Adam, Abel, Cyrus, Hensley, Annie, Hattie, Melvin, Gordon and Delilah.
