Eldred has 2 children: Allan married to Nancy Ludkin, and Carol (Mrs. Gerald Wallingham). Vera has 2 sons; Leigh, married to Joyce Spooner, and Ronald, married to Suzanne Carrier. Ralph has a family of 5: David, Janet, Caroline, Jolene and Barbara. Geraldine has 2 daughters: LeeAnn and SueAnn.
Frank Simmons farmed this farm until October 1955 when he sold it to his nephew Robert Phillips of Fitchburg, Mass., reserving the lot and house which had recently been built, and where Mrs. Simmons and son Eldred now reside.
Robert Phillips then built a summer cottage near the site of the old home. In July 1969 this property was made over to his son Robert Jr., the present owner.
EARL MAC LAURIN
In 1846 this farm was under the ownership of John MacDougald. Around the turn of the century, Wilfred Yeo, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Yeo, purchased it. About 1917 this farm was sold to Earl MacLaurin, the present owner. Earl married Viola Aitken and they had two daughters, Edith (who died at an early age) and Alda (Mrs. Walter Ramsay) deceased.

Lawrence Sullivan of Broom House, Parish of Falkam, Middlessex County, England, the landlord of the whole of Lot 16, gave a 100 year lease of
this farm to Allan MacDougald in 18h3. In 1879 it was deeded to his sofi-in-law Thomas Birch who
died in 1900 and it was then passed on to his only son Edward, who farmed it until he died in
1910.
Edward had one daughter, Amy, and two sons Milford and Budd. Amy married Lemuel Winchester and they had three children, Lena (Mrs. Harry Crossman), lda (Mrs. Ronald Rice) and Edward. Milford and his wife (Sophia Gallant) had a family of six, Albert, Earl, Amy (Mrs. Gilbert
