Lois later married Sam Anderson and now resides in Florida. Arnold married Doris Ramsay. They have two sons Ronald and Brent. Arnold and his family reside in their own home on the farm.
JOHN & KEITH BARRETT
Daniel Campbell, a Loyalist, obtained this land from the Government in 1873, and at his death it went to his son Walter, who died when a young man. The farm then went to the sister, Mae. John Barrett bought this farm in 1922. John married the former Vera Simmons and they have a family of four; Herman, Alberta, Keith and Verna. Herman married Vivian Mac Laurin and has four children, Irwin, April, Herman and Faith. Alberta married Fred Keys and has three sons, Steven, Terry and Kevin. Keith married Sarah Campbell (deceased) and has three children; John, Alice and Frederick. Verna married Lloyd Boutilier and has two children, Laurie and Cathy. Presently John's son, Keith operates the farm. ‘ His herd of Registered Dual Purpose Shorthorn cattle have won many prizes both in Provincial and National Competi—
tions.

Mr. Donald Lyle owned this farm until 1867 when he sold it to John Gauthier. In 1870 Samuel Simpson from Rustico purchased the farm. In 1878 he built a large two-storey house for his family. He was married to Eliza Simpson from Mayfield and they had a family of seven, Lillian, Fulton, Edwin, Alfred, Burton, Milton and SOphia. Fulton, who remained on the home- stead, was married to Eleanor Taylor from Wilmot Valley They had three daughters, Ruth (Mrs. Aage Johnson), Minnie (Mrs. Major Barrett) and Gertrude (Mrs. Ellis Webster).
Ruth and Aage live on this farm, and they have a family of four; Pauline, Lillian, Allison and Kenneth. Pauline married Walter Reeves (deceased) and has three daughters, Linda, Elizabeth and Esther. Lillian married Miller MacLean and has five children; Debra, David, Karen, Rhonda and Sharon. Allison married Thelma Clark and has four children, Ivan, Heather, Eleanor and Kenneth.
