and has three sons, Brian, Gordon and Andrew. Mr. Aage Johnson was appointed Justice of the Peace in 195h and still serves in this capacity. Allison built a new home across the road from the homestead in 1967 and he and his family reside there.

WALTER RAlVISAY

This property was owned in the early 1820's by Donald Campbell, who lived with his sisters Marian and Mary. At Donald's death the farm went to his nephew Artemas Ramsay. Mr. Ramsay married Margaret Thompson. They had two sons Claude and Glen. The farm was passed on to the younger son Glen, who married Marion MacKay. Glen farmed and inspected potatoes. In i9h3 he sold the farm to his nephew, Walter Ramsay and moved to Charlottetown where he continued to work as a potato inspector.

Walter married Alda MacLaurin (deceased). They have a son Gary and a daughter Kay. Gary is a school teacher. Kay married Claude Reeves. They have two daughters Marlene and Kelly.

CLAUDE 8 RUSSELL RAMSAY

This land was first owned by Simon Fraser who also owned land on the Lyle Road. Part of this land on the Lyle Road is now owned by lvan Clark, the remain- ing part is used as Community Grasslands.

Mr. Fraser farmed and owned a schooner, with which he carried on a coastal trade. Mr. Fraser gave this farm to his son William, who farmed and bought Oysters. He built a wharf and warehouse at Red Cape. He Went to Southern United States, bought a harvester, 9rew corn and raised cattle. Everall Acorn bought this farm from William Fraser, and farmed for about ten years. Claude Ramsay bought the farm from Mr. Acorn in l9l2 and farms the land with his son Russell, Who resides in his OWn home on the same farm.

Claude Ramsay married Annie Barrett, they have

farm. Ethel married Byron Yeo and has a son Dale and a daughter Judy. Bertha married Frank MacLaren, they have a daughter Donna (Mrs. Darrell Lyle) and
