The new hall at Cape Traverse was packed to the doors on Thursday, May 8th, 1919 to welcome home the returned heroes from Cape Traverse, Carleton and Augustine Cove. Mrs. T. B. Gillespie was chairman and after a short and appropriate remarks invited the following returned men to the platform:
