James Church, Charlottetown (Presbyterian) opened. 1826 The Old (Protestant) Cemetery on was consecrated on October 12, but the first interment was supposed to be in 1789. 1831 The first Church exclusively Church of England in P. E. I . was St. John's Church, St . Eleanor's. 1834 The first Methodist Church Charlottetown, completed. 1836 The Baptist Association here had its first inception in 1827, and its first Church was buit in 1836. 1836 The second St .
