(7) Nevember 12, 1900 - Vaccination of pupils was to be enforced the next summer (1901) - Therefore, it has now been in effect for 60 years.

(8) January 7, 1901 Principal Seaman recommended that a school of Domestic Science be provided.

March 7, 1910 Principal Seaman urged Domestic Science be taken into consideration when estimates were being prepared. Two years earlier he and another gentleman had presented a petition re Domestic Science signed by 660 taxpayers. This the Board had handed to City Council.

February, 1917 ~ Domestic Science classes were becun in Kindergarten Hall. After some years these classes were discontinued, but were set up again about 1939 in other quarters.

(9) February 2, 1915 Principal Seaman urged a "Visitors flax" be authorized in all schools for each term. Approved.

(10) May 3. 1915 - W to be painted.— at a cost of $400. Previously it had been kalsomined. Ten years after the school was built all the rooms; except the basement, had been whitewashed for $39l

(11) May 6, 1918 Principal Seaman reported that fifty Sirls’from Prince Street School were prepared to enter the in the garden at Victoria Park. Expense tO be borne by the pupils. This was a war effort for which land

had been set aside the year before. Incidentally we still have
