(7) Nevember 12, 1900 - Vaccination of pupils was to be enforced the next summer (1901) - Therefore, it has now been in effect for 60 years.
(8) January 7, 1901 — Principal Seaman recommended that a school of Domestic Science be provided.
March 7, 1910 — Principal Seaman urged Domestic Science be taken into consideration when estimates were being prepared. Two years earlier he and another gentleman had presented a petition re Domestic Science signed by 660 taxpayers. This the Board had handed to City Council.
February, 1917 ~ Domestic Science classes were becun in Kindergarten Hall. After some years these classes were discontinued, but were set up again about 1939 in other quarters.
(9) February 2, 1915 — Principal Seaman urged a "Visitors flax" be authorized in all schools for each term. Approved.
