CLINTON DISTRICT NO. 93 Q.C.

The Clinton district is thus defined, that is to say commenc- ing on the South Bank of the Southwest River at the boundary line between Lots 20 and 21; running thence south along said line to the rear line of James Smith’s land; thence westwardly follow- ing the various courses of the rear lines of the Clinton farms to the east line of Robert Heaney’s farm; thence south in said lire t0 the North line of Malcolm McLean’s land; thence west in said line along the rears of the farms of Heaney, Smith, O’Conner and others to the west line of Thomas Sullivan’s land; thence north in said line to the south line of John McKenzie’s land; thence west in said line to the County Line; thence north along the County Lire to the northern boundary of John McKenzie’s land; thence east- wardly along the northern boundary of said farm and the farm of Thomas Sullivan to the west boundary of Jacob Fyfe’s land; thence north along said line to the Prince Town Road; thence north west- wardly along said road to Durant’s Creek; thence following the creek and the South West River to the place of commencement.

Registered herein November 22, 1880.

With these changes it was found that the old school house was inadequate and a new school was built in the next year, 1881. With few changes this building has served the needs of the com- munity until the present. The school building is now over nine :ry years old and must be one of the oldest schools on P.E.I. Through— out the years many teachers have served in the district and the following list includes most of them.
