Harold, born 1895, married Mary Profitt , born 1897, Mar¬ gate. They farmed in Tryon for a few years and then moved back to Mary's home in Margate , where they still reside. They have nine children and celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1972. Fred, born 1897, went to western Canada to work for his Uncle Will. He bought land in Asquith, Saskatchewan and mar¬ ried Margaret Hastings . He had a son who now operates his farm and two daughters. Fred was a successful dairy farmer and re¬ tired in 1960. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1969. Myrtle , R.N. , 1898-1943, married Francis Murray , Graham's Road. They had one son. Beulah, born 1906, married Harold Mayhew , a farmer and carpenter and they lived in New London . They had two sons and two daughters. Eric, born 1909, was a clerk in Holman's store for many years. Recently, he has been salesman for MacLennan Motors, Summer- side. He married Freda Brown , Sherbrooke . They have one son and two daughters. Marion, born 1911, was employed at Holman's in Summerside for some years in the ladies' ready-to-wear department. Later, she went to Calgary, where she did the same kind of work at which she excelled. She is unmarried. Charles Woodside Charlie, 1903-1959, farmed on the old homestead, married Isla Weeks, 1916-1965, Fredericton , who taught in Clinton school be¬ fore their marriage. They had three daughters and one son: Ger- aldine, Linda, Wendy and Bloice. Geraldine, born 1938, was a school teacher and married Wen¬ dell Moase, New Annan . They have four children. Linda, born 1945, is a librarian in Hamilton, Ontario . In 1972 she married Edward Panton . Wendy, born 1948, married Ronald Cossette , Montreal. They have one child. _ Bloice, born 1954, is a high school student and lives with Linda, In 1961 Isla sold the farm and moved to Traveller's Rest. -41—
