Dan lived at the shore, moved to Summerside and later to Ken - ngton. He married Margaret Currie of New London and they had :>ur children: Joseph, Janet, Bruce and Bessie. Ella — see William Mark 's history. Samuel — see Samuel Dunning history. James' family continued: Harold, 1893-1965, married Bessie Andrew , born 1893. They ed in Clifton, where Harold operated a garage and had one son. Blanche, 1895-1946, married George Dowling , Charlottetown . hey had seven children. Lome, born 1904, married Gladys Carr , New London . They ve in Kensington , operate a garage and have one son. They have summer cottage on his brother Glen's lot. Hattie, born 1907, married Garfield Johnstone, Springbrook . hey lived in Ontario till ill health caused them to return to P.E.I. ■ley now live in an apartment in Glen's house. They have one n living in St. Catherines , Ontario . Glen Dunning Glen, born 1909, farmed his father's farm. He married Jennie 1 Hand, Granville and they had a daughter Florence. She married L 'irl Cole and they have three children. After Jennie's death, Glen re-married Mable Dunning , born 12. West of Glen's farm was a small farm owned by John Chap- P 11. Mark Cole bought this piece of land and worked it along with 3 small piece of land he had bought from William Ross . Glen Punning bought this from Mark Cole and resold it to Mr. Dum- resq, Dartmouth, N.S. , except a half acre next to the road which ^sv. Alex MacDowell had previously bought. Glen had also bought property owned by James Paynter sit- ated opposite the Mark Cole property. About ten years ago he °ld this land to Rev. Alex MacDowell who built a cottage thereon, n 1966 he sold his home farm, reserving his home and surround- nS grounds, to Mr. MacDowell and, in 1970, Mr. MacDowell built mother pottage down at the shore on the Glen Dunning farm. This °ttage is quite tall and appears as a light-house. Mr. MacDowell s married to the former Barbara MacKenzie and he serves a -mited Church charge in Belleville, Ontario .
