In 1970 he sold the farm to Ronald MacArthur , Summersile and it is now known as Bermac Farms, specializing in raising race horses. William Cotton married Janet Crozier , Kelvin and they have a daughter Susan. In 1970 they built the home where they now re¬ side. Billy works at carpentry. Edna Chalmers A lot of land was purchased from Elmer Cotton by the Mis ;es Marion, born 1894, and Edna Chalmers , born 1902, of Quinsy, They are daughters of David Chalmers , formerly of Mt, Stewart and Christine Arthur, Hopedale, who had emigrated to the U.S.A. In 1958-59 they had their retirement home built, Marion died in 1973. Property now owned by Bruce Clark and Higgins Bros. Alexander B. McKay Alexander B. McKay, 1858-1940, was the son of William Mc ¬ Kay, 1823-1897, New London and Elizabeth McKay , 1826-1* 94, who was born in Sutherlandshire, Scotland . They were marriec at New London by George McKay , J.P ., in 1848. Alexander married Rachel Emily Cameron , Long River . died in 1944. They had the following family: Margaret Bell , William, Don¬ ald, Stanley, Mamie, Stirling, Bessie, Reginald and Jennie. Margaret Bell , 1883-1921, married Ira MacLeod , They had one daughter. William, 1885-1962, was a bachelor. Donald (Dan), 1887-1971, married Vera Brown , Graham'8 Road. They lived in Springbrook and later in Kensington . Stanley, born 1889, married Georgia Whiteside, Alberta. The)' had one son. Mamie, born 1891, never married, is now living with her nieft Mrs. Alex Douglas , in Kensington . Sterling, 1894-1918, was killed in action in France in Wor^ War I.
