Wesley Heaney Wesley, 1887-1961, married Florence Dennis , 1880-1936. They had five children: Marion, William, Ralph, Elsie and Ruth. Wesley remained on the homestead and was a carpenter is well as a farmer. His neighbors said of him: "he worked to get the job done not for wages only." Marion described elsewhere. Ruth, born 1917, is unmarried, remained at home, until after her father's death and is now employed in Charlottetown . William Heaney William, son of Wesley, born 1911, married Mildred MacLei d, Irishtown . They have three children: Harold, Jean and Kenneth. Harold, see elsewhere. Jean, born 1943, married Ian McCoubrey , Cavendish. Tbsy live in the Toronto area and have three children. Kenneth, born 1948, see elsewhere. William owns the land east of his home farm, formerly owi ed by his grand uncle Thomas Heaney , and also other property in the Graham's Road district. Property Formerly Owned by Thomas Heaney Thomas Heaney , a brother of Robert Heaney , lived in Gra¬ ham's Road school district, alongside his brother Robert. The family always attended school in Clinton, also Clinton suncay school and church services in Margate , so we felt we must include them in our history. Thomas, 1848-1920, married Jemima Pickering , 1852-1934. They had six children: Ethel, Hedley, Egerton, Emily, Arthur and Charles. Ethel married Daniel Champion an Islander and they lived in Monson, Maine. They had one child. Hedley married Mildred Fogg , Monson, Maine, where they lived. He worked in a slate quarry. They had one child. Egerton married Daisy Pierce , Highfield, P.E.I. He taught school in Clinton and later, he was assistant postmaster in Char¬ lottetown for many years. They had one daughter. —88—
