William Russell born in Hamilton, Prince Edward Island in 1873 married Marion lsaline Ellis and moved to Indian River (Old Town Road.) .They had a family of eight children: James, George, Arthur, Thomas,'Rus- sell, Bessie, Hattie and Fred. James was born in 1902 and died in 1903. George was born in 1903. He married Greta MacLeod. They had eleven children: Marion, Ethen, Robert, Joyce, Edith, Harriet, Shirley, Donald, Margie, Edward and Eleanor. George died in 1970.

Russell married Frances Shea in 1932. They live in Indian River. They have a family of five: Elwood, Freda, Mildred, Irene, and William. Elwood married Marlene Kittle of Calgary. They live in Calgary and have a family of two sons: Danny and Terry. Freda married J. E. Divine, Insurance Broker, Charlottetown. They have four children: Kevin, attending school in Toronto and plays hockey with the Toronto Marlboros; Karen, Michael, and Patricia Ann, at home. Mildred married Clarence Fraser. They have a family of five: Ann, Wendy, Darrin, James, and Kelli. Irene taught school at Indian River and now teaches at St. Eleanors. She is married to Allison Laughlin. They have one daughter, Tracy. William graduated from St. Dunstans University and is now a teacher at Summerside Vocational High School. He is married to Judy Arsenault. They have one daughter, Billie Jo.

. Thomas married Jessie Hynes. They lived in Sea View. They had no family. Thomas died in 1970.

Bessie married Horace Heckbert. They resided in Kensington. They have twin girls: Freda and Neva, both married. Freda is Mrs. Gerald Mills. They live in Ontario. They have two children. Neva married William , McEwan. They live in New London and have a family of three children.

Hattie married James Beairsto. They lived on the farm at Baltic, but moved to Kensington in 1960. They had three sons. William Duncan died in infancy. Fredric married Jean Burke of Newfoundland and now live in St. Huberts, Quebec. They have two sons, Dean and Gregory. Fredric is a Sergeant in the Army Service Corps. James Robert married Carol Bell of Borden, P.E.I. Robert is assistant manager in Communications Dept. with an electronic company in Toronto. They live in Georgetown, Ontario.

Arthur married Gladys Sudsbury. They have two children: Grace and Phillip. Grace married Clayton McLeod. They have five boys and one girl. Phillip works with Mandrel Drilling Co., Calgary, Alberta.

Fred married Doris Noaks from England. Fred was a Sergeant having served overseas in the Artillery. They have a family of nine children. Mary, Anne, Noreen, Dorothy, Shannon, Clive, Brian, Teresa, and Joan. Mary married Vernon Bishop. They live in Moncton, New Brunswick. Ann married Boyd Donalds. They live in Halifax. Noreen is a secretary at Holland College. Dorothy graduated from University of New Brunswick and teaches physical education at St. Eleanors School. Sharon is a nurs- ing assistant now working at Provincial Sanitorium, Charlottetown. Clive is attending Kensington High School. Brian works at Seabrooks, New Annan Plant. Teresa and Joan attend Kensington High School.
