CAMPBELL

The Campbell brothers and sisters lived at the corner of the road leading to the shore at Indian River. There were four brothers, three sis- ters: John, James, Linus and Andrew. John and James never married. Linus married Lucy Gillis of Kensington. Andrew moved to the U.S.A., was married and had a farm in Brockton, Mass. Lucy was married to Joseph Millman, an employee of the C.N.R. in Charlottetown. They have a family. Rose and Mary never married.

DANIEL CAMPBELL

Daniel Campbell, son of Donald Campbell and May Maclsaac, married Catherine Hickey, sister of Matthias Hickey of Indian River. They had a family of two sons and two daughters. Others died in infancy.

James married Minnie MacEachern of Nova Scotia. They had one child, Catherine.

Joseph married Margaret MacGilvray also of Nova Scotia. They had a family of five three, boys and two girls. One boy, Jimmy, was killed overseas in World War II.

Mary was one of those who could shear a sheep, wash the wool, pick it, card it, (she had hand “cards”) spin it, weave it or knit it, to say nothing of all the other accomplishments most women were gifted with in those days. She married Roderick MacLellan, a widower with two daughters, Monica and Bertha. (see Roderick MacLellan).

Gertrude married John Noonan. They had a family of four girls and three boys. Daniel lives in the home place at Indian River. He is married to Geneveive Blanchard of Summerside. They have one son, Ralph, who is married and lives in Hamilton, Ontario; and one daughter, married to Wallace Harding, formerly of Kensington, and now living in Toronto. They have two sons, Paul and Stephen. Mary was married to Fred Richards of Summerside. now deceased They have two sons. Nelson and Jimmy. Mary now lives in Toronto. Ethel is also widowed. She was married to Lewis Connick of Spring Valley. They had a family of ten girls: Lorraine, Mrs. Joseph MacDonald, London, Ontario. They have two girls, Karen and Kelly. Goldie, Mrs. Michael Coffey, St. Catharines, Ontario, have two chil- dren, Shawn and Samantha. Doris, Mrs. Walter Dumfield —— they have no children. Two Connick boys died in infancy. Other girls are Audrey, Diane, Deborah, Donna, Jill, and Zelda; also Dorothy, Mrs. Leslie Paynter,

Kensington with a family of two boys, Dale and Corey, and two girls, Susan and Cindy. Beatrice IS married to Chester Gaudet of SummerSIde. They

have a family of three girls and one boy, Henry, who is single. Mary, Mrs. James Johnson of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, with a family of two girls, Nancy and Darlene; and one boy, Allan. Sylvia, Mrs. James Murphy, of Banbury, Conn. with a family of three girls, Deborah, Karen, Jeanine, and one boy, Robert. Barbara is Mrs. Douglas Ozon of Borden, P.E.l. They have a family of three girls, Donna, Susan, Carla, and one boy, Stephen.
