HECKBERT

Ruben Heckbert born 1851 was married to Jane Bassett in 1875. They moved from Malpeque to Indian River in 1913, they had one son John Heckbert who was married to Millicent Brennan in 1908. They came to Indian River (with his Father) and settled on the William Adams farm by the Hannah Road. They had five children. Sydney, Wilfred, Glenn, Reuben and Bruce.

Sydney married Loretta DesRoche, they had a family of ten; Clara, Grace, Hilda, Mildred, Gladys, Willis, Charlie, George and Rita.

Clara married Ralph Sherry and they have a family of nine, Joan, Jerry, Sharon, Marie, Edward, Sylvia, Pauline, Lissa, and Holly. They live in Hamilton, P.E.l.

John married Lucille Roach. They have seven children and live in Ontario. '

Rita married Austin Connolly. They have three children and live in Ontario.

Charlie married Shirley Spencer. They have two children and live in Ontario.

Grace married Tony Jonchels. They have two children and live in Ontario.

Willis is not married. Hilda married Walter Gaudet. They have no family.

Mildred married Greg Wheten. They have no family and live in Ontario.

Gladys married Clifford Hustler and they have a family of two. George lives at home with his mother and is not married.

Wilfred married Rose Maclnnis and they had a family of eleven; Leslie, Marjorie, Lillian, David, Eleanor, Edward, Josie, Billie, Lenard, Ronald and Marion.

Leslie married Loraine Clow and they have five children and make their home in Oshawa, Ontario.

Marjorie married a MacDonald (first name not known). They have six chil- dren and live in Montreal, P.Q.
