Mary married Frank MacKinnon of North Bedeque; had a family of five sons: Leslie, David, Daniel, William and Augustine and four daughters, Mary, Elizabeth, Catherine and Ellen.

Sarah married Daniel Maclnnis of Centreville, Bedeque; had a family of four sons: Ambrose, Gordon, John, Bernard and two daughters, Anne and Catherine.

Elizabeth never married. She attended the post office for many years. Monica died in her twenty’s, also unmarried.

Roderick’s son, John, married Glen Heckbert who is now deceased. They had one son, John. Cathrine married John Evans; have two sons, Harold, with the Canadian Forces in Germany and Donald married to Carol Doiron of Rustico; have two sons, Darel and Curt and live in Calgary, Alberta. Shirley, a daughter, is employed with Rehabilitation Centre, and Ann is at home.

MaCLELLAN

Known as “Angus at the Mill" was the son of Capt. Roderick Mac- Lellan and Sarah McCormac. He was twice married. First to Catherine Campbell. They had a family of three sons: Louis, John and James and two daughters, Annie and Margaret. We do not have any information on the sons, but Annie and Margaret come from the United States each summer to visit Indian River.

His second wife was Charlotte MacDonald. Three daughters and one son were born to this union. Pensy, who became Mrs. McIntyre and lived in the USA; Janie, who became Mrs. Reid, was a housekeeper for Rev. John Archie MacDonald for a number of years; and Charlotte, who became Mrs. James MacDonald of New Annan. They had a family of six daughters: Kathleen, who taught school for many years in the Canadian West; Con- stance, who first married Frank Mclnnis of Boston, later married Charles Manquem; Mattie married Edward Griffin of Burton, P.E.l.; Penolope mar- ried Dalis Villiard; Annie never married. Mary became a Nun of the Congre- gation of Notre Dame; Somerled, the eldest and Roy the youngest of thethree boys, were not married. We’re not sure if the other one, Edward, was or not.

He lives in New Jersey.

Angus’s son, Bernard, of the second family, was a school teacher and lived in Tignish.

MaCLELLAN

Angus MacLellan came out from Scotland about 1787 and married Effie Stewart. His son, Captain Roderick, married Sarah McCormack of Point'De Rouche. Children of Captain Roderick were: Angus, John, Joseph, Donald, James, Christine, Elizabeth and Nancy.

Joseph Married Nancy Larisey. Family were: James, John, Joseph, Mary Jane, Sarah, Christine and Ann.
