Rupert A., Parish Priest in Alberta; first in St. Ann’s, Calgary; then Milk River; and now Father Rupert is Pastor at Holy Name Church, Calgary.

Agatha, prior to leaving the Island for the New England States, taught at Clermont and Hamilton Schools; and since her marriage to Daniel 8. Brooks, she has lived in Freedom, New Hampshire. She and Danny have four children: Laurel Anne, Ann Marie, Marie Lynn and Kevin Jay.

Urban J., a graduate of St. Dunstan’s University, lives in Burlington, Ontario, with his wife the former Miss Vera Komimko of Russell, Manitoba. Their children are: Damien, Dorinda, Deborah and Danita.

Augustine known as “Gussie” did not marry. He lived on the home place and died in 1965.

Gervase married Mary Steele of Souris and lived in Indian River. Gervase died in 1954. His wife still lives in lndian River.

Amelia living in Boston. Regina married Everett Babine and lives in Bath, Maine. - Angelina died young.

Claire married Joseph Fisher of Fort Augustus. They had one son, Clair who resides in Moncton, NB.

MaCLELLAN, JOHN V.

John V. MacLellan was born in Grand River, the son of Elexander MacLellan and Catherine (MacLellan) MacLellan. He moved to Indian River and married Catherine MacLellan, daughter of John MacLellan and Nancy Chisholm. They had a family of four sons: Arthur, Russell, Bradford and Elmer; and two daughters: Mary Lillian and Agnes Alberta, known as ‘Bertie’.

John V. died in the late 1890’s and Catherine and her six children lived at her home with her mother and sister Rose until their deaths. Brad- ford, who lived with John and Mrs. Caseley at Spring Valley during his youth, went to Bangor, Maine, where he worked for many years with the Maine Cen- tral Railroad. He met and married Annie Bushey, a native of Clear Springs, P.E.l.

Arthur joined him later and married Anna Hickey, a daughter of Matthias Hickey of Indian River. All of the family moved to the USA and never returned. Bertie visited the Island for a short while, while in her early twenties, but died of diabetes after returning to the United States. Brad— ford is still living as far as we know, in New York.

MaCLELLAN

John S. MacLellan, son of Donald and Catherine MacLellan. He was married to Monica MacKinnon from Brackley Point. They owned a farm on the lndian River Road overlooking Richmond Bay. They had a family of eight. Herbert, Hammond, Adolphus, William, Albert, Margaret, Ellen, Mamie and Patricia.
