NOONAN
Patrick Noonan, as far as we know, was born in Indian River, was married to Eliza Brennan of Kinkora, had a family of three sons, Jerry, John and William; and two daughters, Eliza Ann, and Emma. Jerry married Emma Emmerson of Springfield, P.E.l., had three sons, Fred, living in Indian River, Tom in the U.S.A. and Patrick, deceased; and one daughter, Elizabeth, Mrs. Isadore Blanchard, living in Nova Scotia. She had one son, Paul, who passed away in April 1973. -
John married Gertrude Campbell, Indian River, had three sons: Daniel, living at the old home, married to Genevieve Blanchard, Travellers Rest; John Edward and James both married and living in Nova Scotia; and four daughters, Mrs. Mary Richards of Toronto; Beatrice, Mrs. Chester Gau- det of Summerside; Mrs. Ethel Connick of Darnley and Bertha, Mrs. Ezra Durant, deceased. '
William married a Miss Lawless from Kinkora, had a family of six.
Eliza Ann married William Wise, whose mother was a daughter of Michael Fitzsimmons and Bridget (Kent) Fitzsimmons of Long River, P.E.l., natives of Ireland. They moved to Minneapolis, U.S.A., had a family of three, one son and two daughters. - '
Emma married Murdoch Bryanton of Burlington, P.E.l., had a family of six, four of whom are living. Mrs. Millie Millman, a daughter who gave us this information is living in Kensington.
Patrick Noonan was the proprietor of one of the many taverns or inns which were situated about five miles apart in those days.

PHILLIPS
Mr. Parminus Phillips bought the farm owned by Burrose Moase on the Kensington Road in 1918. He was married to Grace Beairsto, June 1918, and settled on the farm. Grace Phillips was a very fine seamstress and she accommodated the ladies of the area. Mr. Phillips was noted for his sing- ing. He is now in his 83rd year and still sings in Malpeque Church, at funer- als, etc. Mrs. Phillips passed away in September 1964.
They raised three nieces, Millie and Dorothy Beairsto and Evelyn Harding.
Millie married Ralph Laird and has seven children: Freddie, Ralph, James, Gary, Diane, Dorothy and Caroline.
Dorothy married Ray Noonan. They had a daughter Freda. She is now Mrs. Caza of Montreal and has five children, all girls.
Evelyn Harding married Ernest Morrison of Summerside. They had one son Jimmie Morrison. Mr. Morrison was drowned in Darnley Basin November 10, 1956. Evelyn later married Albert Diamond. They have twin boys, Danny and Bradley and reside in Summerside.
