RAMSAY
William (Billy Farmer) Ramsay was born in Hamilton, P.E.l., son of Mr. and Mrs. Archibald Ramsay. He bought the John V. MacLeIIan farm in Indian River where he lived for a number of years. He and Robert Easter traded farms in 1906 and he moved back to Hamilton to live. He was not married and was killed by a train in 1910 at the crossing in Kensington, P.E.|.

RAMSAY
James Ramsay married Mary Jane MacGougan and lived on Malpe- que Road at the end of the School Road. Their children were Janie and Johnston. James died when still a young man. Mary Jane later married John Ramsay and went to live in Hamilton. Janie and Johnston lived with their grandparents (MacGougan’s). Janie married Keir Ramsay of Hamil- ton. They had one daughter, Leta (Mrs. Horton Champion). Johnston married Christy Adams and lived in Kensington. They had no family.
RAMSAY
Leslie G. Ramsay, son of Winfred Ramsay and (Pearl Duggan) was born in Hamilton, P.E.I., June 16, 1903. He lived with his grandfather, Nor- man Ramsay, attended Hamilton school also West Kent in Charlotte- town. He and Hilda Cameron were married in Brooklyn, NY. in 1928 and came to live in Indian River in 1929, at which time he bought the John Cam- eron farm, and has resided here ever since. Of late years he took up deep sea fishing and fishes out of Malpeque Cove.
They raised one son, Michael Joseph, and two foster sons, Carl McQuaid and Donald Doiron. Carl lives in Calgary and married Isabel Boothe. They have two sons Michael and Gordon. Donald married Joan Arsenault of Summerside. They live in Willowdale, Ontario, and have two sons Wayne and Donnie. Michael is a Corporal with the C.A.F. Summerside. He is married to Paula Cameron of Summerside. They have two girls: Leslye Anne, and Colleen Mary Ellen.
They left in March for Germany, having been transferred there for
three years.
ROGERS
Thomas Rogers was born in Freetown, the son of William Rogers and Bridget MacCarville. He married Mary Jane Paynter, daughter of Bernard Paynter and Serena Wickett of Long River. They came to live in Indian River in the year 1903. Their family consisted of Walter, William, Alice and
