in Kensington; Preston, who married Etta Arthur from Spring Brook and lived in lrishtown;'Jack and Carl married sisters Gladys and Ida Greenwood from Alberta, and made their home there; Lydia married George MacNeilI from Spring Valley where they lived for a time, then moved to Kensington to make their home; Clayton married Annie Bryenton from Spring Valley and lived in Alberta; Adeline was not married and lived in Kensington. David married Margaret Corr from the U.S.A. and they live in Kensington; Thomas married Rose Sudsbury from Spring Valley and they make their home in Irishtown; Jean married Merrit Davison, lived in U.S.A. for a number of years, but is now living in Kensington. Bruce was not married and lived in Alberta; Thirza Elizabeth, James Edward, and Gertrude Bell all died when young; Thirza married George Henderson from Margate and they made their home there. They had a family of four; Fred who married Lyle Whitehead of Clinton and they lived in Margate. Jenny married James MacNeilI of Spring Valley where they lived for a time, then moved to Kensington; Henry married Fran- cis Durant of Margate and they made their home there; Hattie married Bert Warren and they made their home in Kensington. Jane married Robert Easter of Hamilton where they lived for a time, then moved to Indian River; they had a family of four: Edward, Harry, Grace and Roy. Roy married Mabelle Woodside of Malpeque and they live in New Annan, they have no family. Edward, Harry and Grace are not married and live in Indian River.

TURNER

Thomas Turner was born in Hope River, P.E.I., son of Edward Turner, Hope River and Annie Doyle of North Rustico, P.E.«l. He lived at home until the outbreak of World War Two when he enlisted in the Second Battalion Royal Canadian Artillery. He went overseas in January 1940, and saw action in Italy, France, and Holland. After returning from the services he purchased a property on the Malpeque Road ajacent to the Murphy Road, from Roy Clark, here he was engaged in farming and trucking business until he took over the job of rural mail courier in 1956. He has been delivering mail out of Kensington Post Office on Rural Route 5 ever since. In 1952 he was married to Helen MacDonald, daughter of Alban MacDonald and Mary Connick of Glenfinnen, P.E.I., who was teaching in the area at the time. She taught school in both Indian River and Kensington Elementary Schools. From this union there are seven children, all still living at home. David working at the MacLean Plant, New Annan, P. E..;I Ann, Paula and Joan, students at Kensington Regional High School; Robert, student at Prince County Vocational School; Mary and Tommy both attending New Annan School. Helen returned to the teaching profession in 1965, taught in Springfield, P.E.I. for two years, and for the past six years in New Annan SchooL
