The old house on this property was built by John Tuplin, father of Andrew Tuplin. This house was owned and occupied by Theodore Smith and his wife, Priscilla Manderson. Their family are: Harvey (drowned) ;

Joe, living in Vancouver and Jim, married Inez Campbell of Alberton, and they have two sons, Charles and Eric, both working in Banks.

The present house was built by a Mr. Feathom, a veteran, who taught school at Margate in the 1870’s and it was in this house that the above mentioned families lived.

Later Mr. and Mrs. Smith and family moved into the present house and used the old home as a workshop.

The next owner of this property was Harry Caseley of Spring Val- ley. He purchased from Joe Smith and lived here a few years. Harry is married to Vera Henderson (mentioned elsewhere) of Margate. Their family are: Frances; Clifford in Moncton, NE. and Stephen in school.

After the Caseley’s left Margate, the property was bought by Ed- ward Andrews of Clinton and his wife Dolly Cole of Spring Valley. They have two sons, Grant and Lee.

The old house is still used as a workshop.

CHARLES BROWN

This home was first owned by Mr. Buchanan, then by David Irving. Following was Mrs. Samuel Woodside and later James Durant, Hammond MacNeil, a bachelor, from Cavendish bought the property from Mr. Durant.

In 1953Ellsworth Champion and wife Louise Crane, (mentioned else- where) bought this property.

Later Charles Brown of Irishtown married Doris Mclsaac of Gra— ham’s Road. He bought this home and moved to Margate. They have three daughters: Michelle, Trina and Audrey Lynn. Charles is a truck

driver.

Armel Taylor

This home (mentioned elsewhere) was moved to the school by Mr. Frank Marks (mentioned elsewhere). His wife was Emily Harding of Graham’s Road. Their family are:

(a) Helen —— Mrs. Tony Williams, residing in Summerside.

(b) Muriel Mrs. George Semple (deceased). Her daughter, Helen, liv- ed with her grandmother.

(c) Gardiner married Jean Fraser of Alberton. Reside in Summerside. (d) Vivian, Mrs. Allie MacNeill of Summerside.

After the death of Mr. and Mrs. Marks, the property was bought by Armel Taylor of Clinton, who is married to Sharyn Paynter of Long River. Their children are: Chris and Robin.
