They had a family of four sons and one daughter born to them: James T. lived in Iowa.
Alfred M. lived in Vancouver.
William B. lived in Winnipeg.
D. Moody lived in New Westminster
a daughter named Gussie.
Preston Woodside later owned this property. In 1943 Miss Mary F.
Mayne, R.N., bought this land from Preston Woodside and had a home built for her retirement. She had nursed in United States before coming to Margate, where she enjoyed several years before illness and sale of her property to Sutherland MacKay and his wife Margaret Mayne MacKay of Springfield. Miss Mayne spent the last months of her life at the Living- stone MacArthur Nursing Home, Charlottetown.
Mr. and Mrs. Sutherland MacKay had three children :-—- Leona —— Mrs. Erroll Bagnall, Hunter River
Lena — Mrs. Donald DeWolfe, Bridgewater, N.S. Marjorie ~— Mrs. David MacLean, Kensington.
Mr. MacKay was killed in a traffic accident in 1970.
In 1971 the home and property was purchased by Blair Buell of Vill— age Green. He is married to Jane Buchanan of Strathgartney. They have four children:
Jeffrey, Corlee, Carolyn and Rodney, all at home.
Ellsworth Champion
This property and home was the Parsonage until the pastorate of the Rev. H. S. Young, when a new Parsonage was built in Kensington.
The first to occupy this home as far as is remembered was Mr. James F. Profitt and his wife, Lena Inman of Hampton, P.E.I. Mr. Profitt
was Principal of the two-room school in Margate and taught school from 1909 to end of 1911 term.
The next owner was Sidney Cameron and his wife Emma Frizzell.
Their family are: Leroy — resides in Ch’town; Florence (Mrs. Earl Layers) in Charlottetown; Eldon (deceased); Glen (deceased) ; Fred mar— ried and living in Toronto.
The family moved to Charlottetown and the property was purchased by Sidney’s brother, Lenzley Cameron. He too moved to Charlottetown. (Now Deceased).
The house was later purchased by Ellsworth Champion of Spring Valley. He married Louise Crane of Margate and their family are:
