She died 1 Oct. 1864, in her 73rd year, and is buried at New London. Her gravestone is inscribed, "Janet beloved wife of James Doyle, died Oct. lst, 1864 aged 73 years." Duncan McEwen is buried at
New London Cape, Yankee Hill Cemetery.
